I always used to rescue stray cats and dogs and helped them find foster homes. One day, however, I found a badly injured kitten; at only 3 weeks old, he had 3 fractures and neurological damage. His back hips were paralyzed.
That was Poopy. It took a lot of time and patience to care for him; I took him to physiotherapy and he was operated on a few times. Today, he can walk but can’t control his bladder. He has to wear diapers all of the time and needs a lot of care and attention.
I couldn’t find anyone who would adopt Poopy, so my partner and I decided to keep him.
Despite all of his health difficulties, he’s a resilient, happy cat! He loves exploring and constantly jumps around.
I kept on rescuing other cats and with time I noticed that Poopy was interested in one of them specifically; Luna. She has a very special personality, and she takes very good care of Poopy; they do literally everything together. So, we decided to adopt her as well!
That being said, Poopy’s health issues include a very sensitive stomach. Finding the right food for him was a huge hassle, as none of it was a good match for him. Eventually, we found grain-free food and gastrointestinal food, but it was too expensive and since Luna and Poopy share everything together she ate from the same food, and it caused her to be overweight.
That’s when we became very interested in learning about pet food and discovered PawPots!
First off, both cats loved the food! Luna lost weight and it was really good for Poopy. We started noticing that he was not reacting to it in a bad way and he started to have good poops, so we decided to switch it to 100% PawPots in a very short amount of time.
That being said, not only do they have very soft fur, but Luna is now in perfect shape, and Poopy is having zero digestive issues! We rate it 10/10.
